One of the things that cannot be denied is the success of Google and Yahoo as search engine.

This function is finally adapted by the United States government through usa.gov. This search engine can be accessed by people who want to get information about government policies. It is available in two languages, English and Spanish.
This government search engine, which started in 2000, turns out to be popular enough. “The most popular information is job vacancies, helps and loan information. People are also interested about passport making process, government auctions and government department phone numbers. Those are some of the popular information,” said Shasha, government internet administrator, to Liputan 6 SCTV, in Washington DC, United States, recently.

Government evacuated residents of two cities

Danger zone expansion policy and Fukushima reactor repair delay pushed the government to evacuate residents of two cities, which are Kawamata and Iitate. According to Xinhua, AP and AFP news on Monday (16/5/2011), those two cities residents leaved their home toward evacuation centers in closest cities. Residents at the first wave were children, pregnant women and other residents who considered vulnerable to radiation hazards. “I know you all worry, but we are going to solve this problem together,” said Kawamata Mayor, Michio Furukawa. More than 80.000 residents who live within 20 km from reactor already evacuated first. Mean while, residents who live in 20-30 km from reactor must stay at home. Danger zone expansion was determined last month because of the radiation level increasing.

YouTube launches online video rental service

Video sharing site, YouTube on Monday (9/5) announced their plans to extend their network by launching an online video rental service. YouTube also adds up to 3.000 movies for their new users in the United States to hire.

The New York Time pages wrote that YouTube has reached an agreement with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros. Those big three Movie Studios has agreed to provide their movies for rent through YouTube.

Ashamed milan, palermo to final
